Mid-Missouri authorities arrested a Boonville man on Thursday after he was charged with two felonies relating to possession of child pornography.

A release from the Boone County Sheriff's Department Cyber Crime Task Force said 24-year-old Addison Jones was arrested after investigators received a tip from an online cloud storage site.

Investigators said files containing child porn were saved to the site from Jones' account.

According to the release, investigators arrested Jones at his job. Authorities said he admitted to saving items on the online storage account.

Detective Tracy Perkins with the task force said evidence of child porn was found and seized during the investigation.

She included Jones hasn't had any previous criminal charges relating to child pornography.

As of Friday, he was held in Cooper County Jail custody on a $100,000 bond.

The cyber crimes task force covers seven counties including Boone County and Cooper County.
