Callaway County prosecutors charged a St. Louis man Wednesday with seven misdemeanors and one felony after a chase on Interstate 70.

Eddie Marshall III, 38, was charged with felony drug possession and misdemeanors including resisting arrest, driving while intoxicated and leaving the scene of a crash.

Callaway County Sheriff Clay Chism said in a social media post that the chase started at about 10 p.m. and went for about seven miles before Marshall crashed on westbound Interstate 70 at Kingdom City.

Marshall ran from the crash and authorities used a dog and a drone to find him, Chism said. He was booked into the Callaway County Jail.

No lawyer was listed for Marshall in online court records.
