Two women report man exposed himself on MKT Trail

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Two women told Columbia park rangers that a man exposed himself in front of them Wednesday on the MKT Trail.

The women each contacted the rangers Wednesday about separate incidents near the 1900 block of Forum Boulevard, according to a Columbia Police Department news release.

The first incident happened at about 7:30 p.m. when a woman reported a man riding a bike with his shorts pulled below his waist near the 6.5 mile marker of the MKT, police said. A second woman reported that she was lying on a bench when she saw a man with a bike staring at her and masturbating about 10 feet away about 15 minutes later.

The women said the man was in his mid-20s and thin with clean-cut, squared-off hair, police say. He was wearing a baggy white T-shirt and black shorts.

Police have no one in custody but plan to increase patrols on the trail, according to the release.

Anyone who sees a person fitting the man's description should not approach him but instead call 911, police said.
