COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Ashland Police Department says it arrested a California, Missouri woman after a vehicle chase that reached about 110 mph Sunday.

Abigail Heiland, 23, was arrested near Highway 63 and Old Millers Road after the chase that started with an attempted traffic stop at Broadway and Highway 63, the police department said in a Facebook post.

An officer tried to stop Heiland after she drove through a roundabout and the wrong way through another, police said. Police, with help from sheriff's deputies and highway patrol troopers, deflated the vehicle's tires to end the chase, according to the department.

Police say Heiland was arrested without incident.

Heiland was also wanted on a felony warrant out of Moniteau County, police said.

Heiland was in the Boone County Jail on Monday without bond on a probation violation warrant. Prosecutors charged her with resisting arrest for the Sunday chase.

She did not have an attorney listed in online court records.
