Alleged Boone County shooter charged with four felonies
COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
Prosecutors charged a Columbia man Tuesday with four felonies after another man was shot at a Boone County trailer park.
Keon Jordan, 23, was charged with stealing a gun, second-degree assault, unlawful use of a weapon and illegal gun possession after a shooting Tuesday morning at the Green Hills Mobile Home Park.
Witnesses said Jordan came to the trailer with a gun and threatened to shoot those inside if he did not get his PlayStation 4 video game console, according to a probable cause statement. A man tried tried to grab the gun and the man was shot in the ensuing scuffle, investigators said.
Two witnesses ran from the trailer after the shooting.
The gun Jordan used had been reported stolen, the statement said.
Boone County deputies arrested Jordan on Tuesday.
A judge set Jordan's bond at $100,000 cash-only. He remained in the Boone County Jail on Wednesday.
