JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. --

Jefferson City authorities confirmed shots were fired early Saturday morning.

Police were called to the 1600 block of St. Mary's Boulevard just before 4:30 a.m. Saturday.

ABC 17 News crews at the scene saw authorities searching a neighborhood with flashlights. Authorities confirmed shots were fired, but could not provide any additional details.

Jefferson City police cleared the scene by 6 a.m. Monday.
