Convicted felon found with drugs and stolen gun in Callaway County

CALLAWAY COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

Authorities say they found drugs and a stolen gun in the vehicle with a nine-time convicted felon Saturday in Kingdom City.

According to authorities, Dexter Richmond was pulled over for a traffic violation when deputies found a stolen firearm and drugs.

Richmond had been released from custody after serving two years of a 10-year prison sentence following an incident in which he led authorities on a chase and crashed a car.

Richmond, 48, is currently on state parole. He is being held in the Callaway County Jail without bond.
