Columbia liquor store robbed for second time in less than a month

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Police are investigating the second armed robbery in a little more than a month at a southwest Columbia liquor store.

Officers were called at about 5 p.m. Monday to Xpress Liquor & Smokes on Corona Road in the Cherry Hill area of Columbia. A man wearing a camouflage jacket with dark pants and a face covering showed a handgun and left the store on foot with an undisclosed amount of money, according to a Columbia Police Department news release.

No injuries were reported.

A man with a handgun also robbed the store Nov. 4. No one has been arrested in that incident.
