Columbia police request help in armed robbery investigation

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Columbia Police Department released new photos of the man accused in an armed robbery of a Break Time location early Wednesday morning.

The police department said on Twitter Thursday afternoon it needs help from the community to identify the man.

ABC 17 News is told the man went into the gas station off Paris Road with a gun around 1:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Police said the man used the gun to demand money from a cashier before he got away with an unknown amount.

No one was hurt during the robbery.

Investigators described the man as:

  • Black Man
  • Between 40 and 50-years-old
  • 5 feet and 10 inches tall
  • Medium build
  • Wearing blue jeans and a black coat
