No arrests made after Columbia Police investigate armed robbery at gas station

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Police are searching for a person accused of robbing a gas station in northeast Columbia early Monday.

Investigators said someone with a gun went inside the Break Time in the 2400 block of Paris Road around 1:30 a.m. and demanded money from the cashier.

No one was hurt during the robbery.

Investigators said the robber was last seen running southbound from the store with an unknown amount of money.

Police describe the person as:

  • Black male
  • Between 40 and 50-years-old
  • 5 feet, 10 inches tall with a medium build
  • Wearing blue jeans and a black coat
