Missouri positivity rate rises to 8.2%

Missouri's seven-day positivity rate has risen to 8.2% since Tuesday, according to the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services.

In an update to the state health dashboard, in the past seven days, Missouri has had 3,875 positive cases in the state. Overall, Missouri has had 524,714 positive cases.

The dashboard also showed Missouri has seen 1,661 probable antigen cases with a daily average of 237 probable cases. This adds to the state's total number of 94,020 probable antigen cases.

State health officials have recorded eight confirmed deaths in the last week in Missouri which adds to an overall number of 9,311 total Missouri deaths.

There have been 50,709 PCR tests and 31,533 antigen tests in the last seven days in the state of Missouri. The total number of PCR tests in Missouri is at 5,735,777 while the total number of antigen cases is at 1,802,252.

Missouri is nationally ranked as the 25th state in both new cases and new deaths in the past seven days.
