Missouri has never had one and most areas of Mid-Missouri are under no health order requiring them. However, public health experts say wearing masks is crucial to ensuring coronavirus rates continue to go down, even as millions of Americans are being vaccinated.
Many people have rejected masks from the beginning, while others are growing weary of wearing them.
