COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Locally-owned small businesses in Columbia have another chance to apply for grant funding.

The City of Columbia Housing Programs Division is reopening its Small Business Recovery Loan Program application portal on Thursday. Businesses with six to 49 employees are eligible to apply between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Eligible businesses could get a forgivable loan of $15,000 to cover business expenses incurred because of COVID-19.

The program guidelines say businesses must be majority owned by someone living in Boone County and need to have been in business for at least 12 months.
