The state's CARES Act funding group is set to meet Thursday morning and go over an update on the impacts of COVID-19.

The group's agenda said state leaders will talk about unemployment and business recovery at the 10 a.m. meeting.

ABC 17 will hold a livestream of the meeting when it starts. You can watch the stream in the player below.

Gov. Mike Parson chose Missouri State Treasurer Scott Fitzpatrick to lead the group back in April. It met for the first time on April 28.

The state received more than $2 billion from the federal spending bill. According to the state treasurer's website, the Office of Administration is expected to receive more than $500 million. The Missouri Department of Social Services and the State Emergency Management Agency are also expected to receive millions from the CARES Act.

The funding group is also expected to give an update on Missouri's remote learning capacity.
