WATCH: Boone County commissioner talks about economic effect of COVID-19

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Boone County Southern District Commissioner Fred Parry sat for two live interviews on ABC 17 News on Thursday.

Parry appeared on the 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. newscasts, answering COVID-19-related questions from anchor Deborah Kendrick. Questions in the 5 p.m. newscast focused on the economic effects of the COVID-19 pandemic and orders meant to slow it down.

Parry talked about high unemployment levels in Boone County and the frustrations of businesses that have not been able to fully reopen.
