Columbia school bus involved in crash near Stephens Lake Park

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
A Columbia Public Schools bus was involved in a crash Friday near the intersection of East Broadway and Old 63, near Stephens Lake Park.
Multiple vehicles appeared to be involved in the crash. CPS spokeswoman Michelle Baumstark told ABC 17 News in a text message that 11 students are on the bus. No injuries have been reported and the school district is notifying families, she wrote.
A Columbia Police Department spokesperson said that officers were dispatched at 3:10 p.m., while fire department vehicles were dispatched at 3:14 p.m., a Columbia Fire Department spokesperson said.
Police are directing traffic in the area. A tow truck arrived to remove one of the vehicles at 3:40 p.m. The crash appeared to involved a bus, a blue mini van and a red truck. Baumstark said that a van cut in front of the bus.
Another school bus will arrive to pick up the students.
