COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Firefighters blocked a residential street in north Columbia after being called Thursday afternoon to a house fire.

Firefighters were called out at about 3:30 p.m. to Haden and Northland drives. An ABC 17 News reporter saw several Columbia Fire Department vehicles blocking the road and emergency dispatchers sent out a public alert about the roads being closed.

CFD Capt. Zachary Grace said 10 units were sent to the fire. Firefighters found a small fire under the sink and no one was injured.
