Columbia woman killed in Pettis County crash

SEDALIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

A 64-year-old Columbia woman was killed in a single-vehicle crash Monday night in Pettis County, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report.

According to the report, the crash occurred as a 2023 Nissan Rogue –driven by Pamela Holbrook – was heading southbound on Walnut Grove Road, north of Eckles Road, when it crossed the centerline and went off the left side of the road.

The back of the Nissan hit a bridge abutment and stopped on its side in the roadway, the report says. Holbrook was pronounced dead at the scene by the Pettis County coroner.

The report indicates that it is not known if Holbrook was wearing a seatbelt. Her body was brought to Heckart Funeral Home in Sedalia, the report says.

The vehicle was totaled.
