COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Road work on several Columbia streets will occur Monday, Sept. 16-Tuesday, Sept. 24, according to a Thursday press release from the city.

The release says six streets will be resurfaced, including (in order):

  • West Worley Street from North Fairview Road to the end of the asphalt near Smithton Middle School;
  • Bernadette Drive from North Stadium Boulevard to West Worley Street;
  • Locust Street from Hitt Street to South Sixth Street;
  • Paquin Street from South College Avenue to Hitt Street;
  • Waugh Street from Locust Street to Paquin Street; and
  • North Keene Street from the roundabout at I-70 Drive SE to the East Broadway (Route WW) traffic signal.

The release says works will be done from 5 p.m.-7 a.m. each night, but work will not occur on Saturday or Sunday.

Lane closures will be required and “no parking” signs will be posted at least 24 hours before work begins, the release says.
