Lane closures announced for West Broadway, Scott Boulevard beginning Sept. 3
COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
Lane closures will be required on Scott Boulevard and West Broadway in west Columbia as crews begin building a new sidewalk, according to a Thursday press release from the City of Columbia Public Works.
Work begins at 7 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 3 and is expected to be completed by “early winter,” the release says. During construction, the “northmost westbound lane” of Scott Boulevard and West Broadway will be closed, the release says.
The cost of construction on the project is estimated to be $442,000, according to the release. Funding comes from MoDOT contributions, developer investments and the Capital Improvement Sales Tax, the release says.
