Columbia man dies after being hit by vehicle

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

A man died Thursday after being hit by a vehicle in northeast Columbia.

Tristen Crawford, 24, of Columbia was hit in the 4600 block of Paris Road by a vehicle that was traveling south at about 8 p.m., the Columbia Police Department says in a news release. Crawford was taken by ambulance to a hospital where he succumbed to his injuries, police say.

The release did not say why Crawford was in the road or give any information about the vehicle that hit him.
