Police respond to report of shots fired in east Columbia

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Columbia Police responded to a report of shots fired in east Columbia Sunday night.

Crime scene tape went up Sunday night in the 2600 block of Jacobs Place in Columbia, near the Broadway Village Apartments. Police were called to the scene around 8:40 p.m. and the scene was clear around 9:30 p.m. Police said there were no victims and no suspects.

Police said it did not appear there were any reports of property damage.

ABC 17 reporters on scene saw at least six Columbia Police patrol cars and watched as officers put up crime scene tape.
