COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Columbia City Council has canceled its Monday night meeting, saying in a news release that a meeting notice was not posted properly.

The meeting will now take place at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the council chambers of City Hall.

The city said in a news release that a physical copy of the agenda for Monday's meeting was not posted in the first-floor hallway of City Hall, as required by the city code.

Among the items on the meeting agenda is a public hearing for more than $12 million in Forum Boulevard improvements in south Columbia.
