Bus towed after crash near Columbia high school

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

A school bus was towed from the scene of a crash Monday morning near Hickman High School.

The crash involved the bus and a two-door sportscar. The crash at Providence Road and Business Loop 70 happened a little before 9 a.m. Classes at Hickman begin at 8:55 a.m.

Information about the cause of the crash was not immediately available. A Columbia Police Department officer at the scene said only minor injuries were reported. A Columbia Public Schools spokesperson said no students were on the bus.
