Closure of West Broadway in Columbia delayed
COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
UPDATE: The work has been postponed until Feb. 14.
ORIGINAL: The eastbound lane of West Broadway in Columbia will be closed for about two-and-a-half hours on Wednesday, according to a press release from the city.
The closure will occur around 9:30 a.m. at the intersection with Westwood Avenue as Columbia Water and Light crews finish connecting wires to utility poles, the release states. Work will also be done east of Westwood Avenue and should take about two-and-a-half hours to complete, the release states.
The release states that flagmen will direct traffic and those traveling through the area are urged to exercise caution or find other routes.
