Police: Evidence of shots fired found in central Columbia late Tuesday night

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Columbia Police found two homes damaged by gunfire late Tuesday evening.

Police were called to Oak Street a little before 11 p.m. for reports of shots fired.

A sergeant on scene told ABC 17 News crews that two homes were hit by bullets but no one was hurt.

ABC 17 News crews on scene saw at least nine evidence markers in the area and saw a crime scene investigation van.

Police cleared the scene just before midnight.
