Rock Quarry Road reopens after crash, at least two sent to hospital

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

At least two people were sent to the hospital and Rock Quarry Road in Columbia was closed off Wednesday afternoon after a crash occurred near the Hinkson Creek Trail.

An ABC 17 News reporter saw a firetruck and at least three Columbia Police Department vehicles on the scene at 3:28 p.m. The amount of vehicles involved in the crash is currently not known.

Both firetrucks left the scene by 3:53 p.m. The road reopened at 6 p.m..

The reporter saw a red truck and a green car in the wooded area. Another vehicle involved was marked as drivable.
