Fire causes damage to home in northern Columbia

Fire caused damage to a Columbia residence on Friday night in the 4400 block of Rice Road. The cause of the fire is being investigated.

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Fire damaged a Columbia residence Friday night in the 4400 block of Rice Road.

The Columbia Fire Department arrived to the scene at 9:01 p.m. with the right side of the house on fire, according to CFD Capt. Ed Kehrer. The fire was put out by 9:09 p.m.

No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is being investigated.

An ABC 17 News reporter saw two firetrucks on the scene.
