East Walnut Street to close next week between North College Avenue and Old Highway 63
COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
Beginning 7 a.m. Tuesday, East Walnut Street will close between North College Avenue and Old Highway 63 North, according to a Thursday press release from the City of Columbia.
The street is expected to reopen Thursday, May 18, weather permitting.
The closure is to allow for the completion of an asphalt overlay on East Walnut Street, the release stated.
North William Street and Ripley Street will remain open to both northbound and southbound traffic. However, motorists are asked to avoid the area if possible, according to the release.
