Oakland Middle School hosts back-to-school event
COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
Oakland Middle School in Columbia held its back-to-school event Tuesday night.
Families of students had the opportunity to meet teachers and other staff. Students had the chance to walk through their schedule with their families.
The school also hosted a fair at the event to let students and their families see what clubs are offered at the school.
Kona Ice COMO brought its truck to the school and local business "Lunch Lady" provided free tacos for the sixth grade class.
