COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The deposition between former Gov. Eric Greitens and his ex-wife Sheena Greitens took place at the Boone County Courthouse on Wednesday.

This is the first time the former governor was in a Boone County courtroom instead of virtual or through his lawyers for this case.

Both were expected in court today to testify in a closed deposition, ABC 17 News crews at the courthouse saw Sheena go into the courthouse.

The deposition was set up last Friday after the two refused to testify in a public courtroom.

The statements he and Sheena made in those depositions will be used in arguments on whether or not to move the family court case to Texas.

Sheena claims Eric abused her and their children.

ABC 17 News crew saw the former governor leave the courthouse just before 7 p.m.
