Parade set for second day of True/False Film Festival

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The second day of the 2022 True/False Film Festival is set to kick off Friday, with over 30 films and events set to take place throughout downtown Columbia.

True/False's parade is also set to take place at 5 p.m. Friday, beginning at the Boone County Courthouse before marching down 9th street, ending at the Missouri Theater.

Columbia residents downtown will want to avoid 9th street during the parade, as other streets may be blocked throughout the day. Street parking will also be limited.

On its website, True/False posted a festival map, for attendees to utilize to find events, films and restaurants.

Friday, the Missouri Theater is set to host four films throughout the day with the first beginning at 11 a.m. and the last screening at 7 p.m.

The Blue Note will also hold multiple screenings throughout the day Friday, also beginning at 11 a.m.

A full list of daily events is available on the festival's website, other events Friday include campfire stories, happy hours and dance parties.
