COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

A Boone County prosecutor has charged a Columbia man after he allegedly used a Taser during a domestic dispute.

Brian Everhart is charged with third-degree domestic assault and armed criminal action after an incident on Wednesday morning on the 1800 block of Prathersville Road.

The victim told deputies that Everhart tased her in the chest.

A witness told deputies that she saw Everhart hit the victim with an open hand and pushed her according to court documents.

Everhart is currently in Boone County Jail custody being held without bond.

A court date has not been scheduled at this time of this story's publication.
