WATCH: Columbia NAACP celebrates Martin Luther King Jr.

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Columbia chapter of the NAACP hosted a ceremony Monday to memorialize Martin Luther King Jr. at a local site named for him.

The group gathered at the King memorial outside the MKT trailhead off Stadium Boulevard. After a brief ceremony, the group formed a motorcade to Second Missionary Baptist Church for a program. Volunteers will then deliver meals for the needy as a day of service.
