COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Columbia Parks and Recreation Department says they have started repairing trails.

The department posted this photo on their Twitter page today showing a section of trail.

Right now, the department still asks you stay off the trail system.

The goal is to have all trails passable by the end of the week according to the Twitter post.

The Columbia Fire Department also helped by cleaning off playground at Jay Dix Station.
