True/False Film Festival organizers call event a success

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Organizers for Columbia's annual True/False Film Festival say this year was a success despite pandemic restrictions in place and lower turnout.

Organizers told us they filled 9,500 seats this year and 2,050 of those were online viewers.

Normally, about 15,000 people come to True/False and buy about 45,000 tickets.

True/False held its events outside at Stephens Lake Park this year with limited capacity.
