Columbia man charged with an incident with a gun at a gas station

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

A Columbia man is charged after bringing a gun into a gas station while looking for a person that robbed him.

According to court documents, Kenneth Aylor went into the Petro Mart on the 1000 block of N. Stadium Blvd. looking for man he claimed robbed him last Wednesday.

The clerk told police two men, Aylor and another, went into the store and followed the employee to the back while looking for the other man.

The other man confessed to police on Thursday that Aylor and him went into the gas station with a shot gun looking for the other man.

On Friday, Columbia police took Aylor into custody.

Aylor is charged with unlawful possession of a firearm and unlawful use of a weapon.

The court denied Aylor bond.

Aylor's next court date is March 10 for a docket hearing and then on March 29 for a preliminary hearing.
