UPDATE: The Columbia Police Department says Kevin J. Soto was found safe and is back with his caretakers.

ORIGINAL: Police are asking the public for help finding a man last seen Tuesday morning in Columbia.

Kevin J. Soto, 50, of Hallsville was last seen at about 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in the 2100 block of Forum Boulevard, according to a Columbia Police Department social media post. Soto is about 5 feet 10 inches tall and 270 pounds, police said. He was last seen wearing a black cap and a navy blue v-neck T-shirt and carrying a black and red striped lunchbox and a Walmart bag.

Police said in a news release that Soto has medical conditions that could put him in physical danger.
