COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Columbia Parks and Recreation and Cumulus radio stations are planning a free drive-through Halloween event on Oct. 31 at Cosmo Park.

The event is set for 3 to 5 p.m. or until all treats are distributed.

Participants will drive through the event, passing by several stops where treats will be distributed through car windows. All participants must remain in their vehicles and wear masks when interacting with event staff and volunteers. In return, staff and volunteers will wear masks and gloves when interacting with participants and passing out wrapped treats.

Event-goers should enter Cosmo Park from the south end of the park, off Business Loop 70. Drivers will be asked for their name and contact information for contact tracing purposes.
