COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Columbia Public Schools Foundation donated more than $59,000 as part of its Kits for Kids campaign to give elementary student school supplies at Columbia Public Schools.

The foundation and donors help raise the money so families that couldn't purchase a pre-packaged school supply kit could still receive one.

"The foundation is proud to be able to support our students and teachers during the COVID-19 pandemic," said Cindy Mustard, president of the CPSF board of directors. "We're so pleased to see the community respond to help us provide school supplies for our elementary students."
