COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

UPDATE: Columbia police say they found the boy's mother and reunited them.

ORIGINAL: The Columbia Police Department is asking the public for help finding the parents of a young boy.

The department said on social media that the boy was found in the area of the Links Apartments at 5000 Clark Lane. CPD did not say when the boy was found. A photo of the boy was included in the post.

Police ask anyone with information to call 311 or 573-874-7652.
