Sidewalk and parking lane closure scheduled on East Ash Street, Oct. 5-9

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Beginning Oct. 5, at 8 a.m., Weathercraft Inc., contractor for Boone County, plans to reroof part of the courthouse located at 705 E. Ash Street.

This will result in the closure of a portion of the sidewalk and parking lane along the south side of East Ash Street between Seventh and Eighth streets.

The work associated with the closure is scheduled to be completed by Friday, Oct. 9 at 5 p.m., weather permitting.

Motorists, pedestrians and nonmotorized transportation users are urged to exercise extreme caution when in the work zone.

Pedestrians should use the sidewalk on the north side of East Ash Street.
