WATCH: Police investigation underway in central Columbia

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Police are investigating in central Columbia Thursday afternoon.

Multiple Columbia Police Department vehicles were seen near at the intersection of Lasalle Place and Pendleton Street, as well as, Douglass Park.

An ABC 17 News crew saw crime scene tape up at an apartment complex on Pendleton. The crew said officers were seen carrying evidence markers.

A CPD K9 unit was also seen in the area.

It's unclear if anyone was hurt in the incident or what happened.
