City of Columbia accepting applications for boards and commissions
COLUMBIA, MO (KMIZ)
The City of Columbia Clerk’s Office is now accepting applications for boards and commissions.
If you want to apply, the City Clerk’s Office needs to receive applications by 5 p.m. on Oct. 9. Applications are available on the City’s website at CoMo.gov on the City Council page.
Boards and commissions are a way for residents to be involved in local government and to represent the voices of their fellow community members.
The following are current boards and commissions openings:
- Board of Adjustment
- Citizens Police Review Board
- City of Columbia New Century Fund Inc. Board
- Climate and Environment Commission
- Columbia Housing Authority Board
- Columbia Vision Commission
- Commission on Cultural Affairs
- Community Land Trust Organization Board
- Housing and Community Development Commission
- Personnel Advisory Board
- Public Transit Advisory Commission
- St. Charles Transportation Development District Board
- Substance Abuse Advisory Commission
- Tax Increment Financing Commission
- Youth Advisory Council
