COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Columbia firefighters responded to a residential structure fire Monday morning near Business Loop 70 East.

A tweet from the Columbia Fire Department said crews were called to a residence in the 1100 block of Pannell Street around 9:20 a.m.

The fire department said in a second tweet minutes later the blaze had been put out and no people were hurt.

It's unclear what the started the fire Monday morning.
