Car flips on side after crash in central Columbia

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

A car flipped on its side in central Columbia Monday night.

The wreck happened around 10:45 p.m. at Worley Street and West Boulevard. Three police vehicles and a fire truck responded to the scene.

According to a notification from Boone County Joint Communications, authorities closed the road.

The car was on its side near a damaged power pole. It's unclear if any other vehicles were involved.

ABC 17 News contacted the police and fire departments for more information about what caused the crash.
