Columbia police: Missing teen found safe

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

UPDATE 11:00 P.M.: Columbia police said a missing teenager was found safe.

The department posted the update to its Facebook page Tuesday night. The post did not say where he was found.

ORIGINAL: Columbia police made a public appeal Tuesday for help finding a missing 17-year-old boy.

The Columbia Police Department said in a Facebook post that it is looking for Daniel Wood, 17, who was last seen late Monday in the 1200 block of Again Street.

Daniel was on a blue and orange Mongoose bicycle and might be in the area of the MKT Trail, police said.

Police said anyone with information about Wood should call 911 or 573-874-7652 and reference case number 2020-004602.
