Traffic slowed on Providence after rollover crash

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Editor's note: The crash scene was cleared and Providence was open by 2:20 p.m.

Columbia police responded to a rollover crash at Providence and Nebraska Ave. Saturday afternoon.

Rollover crash at Providence and Nebraska in Columbia

One car was flipped onto the sidewalk next to a gas station. Another damaged car was parked on Nebraska Ave.

ABC 17 News crews saw officers blocking one northbound lane of Providence and guiding drivers through the area.

Around 1:45 p.m., Boone County Joint Communications advised drivers to avoid the area.

An ambulance was at the scene as well as the Columbia Fire Department.
