Columbia film festival brings crowds downtown

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The True/False Film Festival is in full swing Saturday as festivities are planned throughout the weekend.

Showtimes are set to begin at 9:30 a.m. with films in both Jesse Auditorium and the Missouri Theatre. The films will continue all throughout Saturday with over 40 expected to be screened.

A portion of Ninth Street from Locust to Elm streets will be closed for the festival. It is expected to reopen Sunday at 11 a.m.

GoCOMO, the city's public transit system, has also said that they will not be providing any special services for the festival this year. Services will run on normal hours though 6 p.m. Saturday, and there will be no services Sunday.
