Columbia is planning for the True/False Film Festival, which starts on Thursday. Festival organizers said on Monday that the event will run as planned. There will be hand sanitizer stations and information from the CDC posted downtown.
MU announced some university-sponsored trips have been canceled as the COVID-19 outbreak continues. So far, trips to San Antonio, Italy, China and South Korea have been called off.
The Department of Health and Senior Services said no cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Missouri as of Wednesday. About 100 people are monitoring themselves for symptoms after having contact with someone else who had the virus.
